(He is Samuel…our youngest son. He is an actor, a creator of theatre art, a wonderful teacher and a mystical soul. This work is a collaboration of Miguel, his father and my dear husband (who took the portrait shot)…and myself who created the editing and the atmosphere and final creation of the pic It was done for one of his promotion posters, and I am really happy with the result. Nevertheless…the power of the image has created in me, a movement , that I am trying to express with this poem. )
Composition created with the blending of some pictures….with a theatrical environ and a duplicated portrait. Framing background created with a cloudy sky. All in photoshop.

On the surface,
the spectacle of exhibition.
Inside, the cloning of our Soul.
Around, the misty, mystifying purpose.
Clouds of fears and pretends.
The Mask…protuberance of senses.
Behind it..clear look and constrained silence.
In the horizontal, multi egos reflecting.
Along the vertical…columns of yearning.
What is there at the centre of my own image?
A heart beating, warm paced, exhilarated.
Untamed horse without a carriage.
I have lost my crown thoughts not longer my own.
I have lost my seat upon the throne’s of Gods.
I have opened the Gates of Eternity,
engraving my image upon the Darkness..
The Other…
The One…
and …
Tao .

    Your son is very talented!

    Absolutely adore this!

“In the horizontal, multi egos reflecting.
    Along the vertical…columns of yearning.
What is there at the centre of my own image?”

Of course, it is all about seeking in and out; bringing from soul to surface for facing and refinement—then to become one with greater reflection, realizing all that appears outside in the cosmos is, as within ourselves, the reflected spirit and soul of source. Eventually, with increasing clarity and less difficulty, we begin see ourselves as one with that source, and begin a conscious journey together, as one, through eternity—-both individual and source infinitely unfolding, glory upon glory.

  • Oh, Joe…
    How strange is this mind….our…mine…
I know what is it with it…specular…echoes..
but not when I feel, sense is always the same.
    That source unfolding…glory upon glory…
    Will that be? when?
I am eager. Sometimes get tired. Not from waiting.I am not waiting.May be from wishing…that is.
Thanks a lot for your words. Seem like a riddle but they are not.

Fascinante!

Muchas gracias, Richard. Un apretujo para tí.

Rosa, this image has such a force and power. It is as if they could take our souls too. It is mystical, magical, and a tad scary – I love it so much. Your poem speaks from your heart, as always and is another source of the power in the image. I love this.

  • Hello Anna!!
I would say it is impressive, but theatre is like this. And what I love most is my ability to find power and intention in my son’s portrait.
He doees have an impressive face when he wants it..and when he does not. But is a real sensible and kind young man.
Thanks a lot for your visit and heart.
