I am witnessing.
In the distance…
so that is the way
for feeling the little ones,
without trespassing their intimate halo.
Moon reposing in a canopy of turrets.
Thread of whispering leaves…
misting the fairy´s night festival.
Little theatre of encounters,
triad of friends…learning
to love
and hate
the way love…
is swaying to and fro
the meetings of needs,
the substance of childhood,
the presence of imagining…
the castle for hiding and climbing,
without stairs…..up….up
Suspended time for growing.

Close…electric skin.
Far away…hurting mood,
as words in a play.
The “prima donna”´stepping
resolution to soothe the pain.
Secrets revealed,
offering the weakest place,
where one is learning to listen,
to go and give..and to obtain.
I am smiling behind my frame,
emerging from an invisible window,
as a puppet of Life and Death.

I am looking after my tiny grandson today. He is sleeping now, and I have just discovered your wonderful image. You have captured here, the very essence of childhood with the three children in different positions. We do need to learn to listen to these wise and precious little beings. When I am with them my heart soars – as your clearly does. What a fabulous poem you have written too. You are so talented dear Rosa.

  • Well…I am always taken by the way the children create their own cocoon of interrelation and playing..and they do it with a real stern purpose..unknown but real. I feel much the same …I have had a “solitary” chilhood, for many reasons, and the main, could be that my brothers were older than myself. I shared much with my youngest brother but yet…he was seven years older and being much attachted to me, but even so, he was a boy and then four years after came my sister…a punny little girl with health problems..I do not remember much playing like this…with the exception of summers passed with my cousins….but well…this is why I loved this scene…The compo has been done with Bilbao´s Park material. All of it. Quite laborious..and I am really happy with the result. What was in my mind-heart…has come out. And the animation is inside of it.
Thanks dear Anna…love your presence here.

I am lost in the magic, growing and learning of childhood. what a fabulous capture with words so true. wish I could go back from time to time for a vacation – it would be better than a tropical island : )). hugs Rosa xoxoxo

  • Hi dear Shar…
    You mean…going back to childhood?
For what I know…in my case is sometimes more sour than sweet.
I would not with the exception of that freewheeling sense of living the inner core…so much spoiled by the demands of the adult world.
Now I am always trying to make amends to that and follow my creative child wth such a pains, that is unbeleivable…
Thanks for being here…you are a support for my soul and person.
