She is Larraitz, a good friend of Samuel, our youngest son, who also writes theatre plays. Both are actors and have worked and work together, so they feel the grip of the stage and the energy that this art is coming out of their beings. The portrait was taken at a “leisure time” previous to her kind introduction on the Samuel´s acting in his piece, “Alguien”. So, here… she was quiet and observing around and being a good company to all of us.
This a homage to the greatest of all arts….Theatre, a reproduction of what “human reality” is at last, spaces of Music, Dance, Words, Art, and above all understanding of our complex behavior and relationship.
*In an enclosed space…
Before the apparent wall
the spectators never dare to touch
your neon voices..for they are burning
inside the immaculate visions
of the peasants of lazy habits.
Their spiritual “anima” is scared
by the vision of your power.
Where do they sound the cryings
of the old witches, lost in time… faded?
broken by opened arms,
the skin of ivory,
indifferent pearls of light.
You look at me…
trespassing my feels.
And I stand clutching the weapon
that does not wound..but heals.
So it is not weapon at last..
but truly the essence of my wits.
The smoke passioning the hall,
cannot find a way to dissolve.
And you wait for my approval,
of beauty and love…
so I try to understand that …
you are not there…
any more than myself,
at the moment the stage,
breaks the space between
the ones who expect..
and the one who gives.
in serene compassion
Just wait for her…
Larraitz…witch of Faith.
