Behind a Rose, pressure….
faltering disposition for giving up.
A drop of blood, oscillating on the brim.
I was too uncareful…disdaining pain.
Touching the thorns with sensual calling.
The miracle, not milk enough for my thirst.
Cracked lips for too much smiling,
to that star wishing to escape from the rose.
i thought I was…if I was…unmerciful.
when your face was vanishing from my eyes.
Hardened mask of femininity unwanted.
Wish I would name your armour for a new battle…
wish I could honor your virtues of a warrior.
wish I would dart your heart with moans,
melting away that icy disposition,
a pursuit of a maze of insanities,
running after eventual dismays,
proving the word that was untold,
and the skin that had not had…
any caresses.
at all.

Gosh Rosa, the words feel so disappointing and painful to me. The image feels intense and is so abstract. Just loving to know how that amazingly talented part of you creates such incredible images, and verse. Always I feel I am missing something, no matter how much I get …if you know what I mean. The beauty of the image is great, with it’s colors and effects, but the meaning from your words takes it over for me. Always a big WOW when you do post. You are so, so brilliant.
    Hugs for you, shar xoxoxxoxoxoxoxox

  • Dear Shar. It is a mystery how words can affect us. Joe, also seemed to concern about my mood, thinking that my words were not as joyful as on othe poems. I am not conscious, overtly conscious avout any very differeent mood, but I come to the conclusion that this images are windows and the words re like the aroma that the outside or the inside let if flow when the windows are opened.
I thank you so much for your comment and your sharing and take with discretion your reactions though make me feel bewildered upon the facf of them. Specially the term….“disappointing”
    Receive my affection…..

Hi Rosa; hope all is well. Not one of your happier ones…but true to life—the image also in there with the rose we do not see, or overlook, charmed by the more surface obviously appealing. Not that the image you paint is not appealing—it is amazing and captivating—to compel us to explore all of life, so the speak, for the purification and transformation. Another truer than life art of yours, exhibiting rare courage and gift!

  • Hi Joe….thank you so much for your concern. I really do not know what I write when I write it….evenly stopping if something does not resound…but the fact is that I must recognize a different mood and of course the imaginative discourse. I do not feel particularly bad….but well…there is some deepness and darkness…as a constant background. Used to it….I guess. I am glad you have enjoyed both, the image and poetry and usual, feel really happy with your presence and soul.

Another fabulous image and writing I think we are always attracted by the beauty of a rose yet we have to approach it with care the thorns are painful I think it is a metaphor for life and the painful situation we find ourselves in attracted by beauty and often hurtful experiences…..

  • Thank you Renate for your wonderful insight. Is is fantastic to follow the pathways of other’s reactions to my work. And the thing is that all of them are so valuable.
I like very much your comment and thank you with my heart.
