"Oh… God..
How can I can I gather flowers with my hands..
when rejection has turned them cold..
and just one is waving to the light..
as a metaphor of a passion lost
I did not pretend to fill the hole.,.
that a black star..
had left in heaven..
with not vision of entering into..
the beaming source of Love.
But I did not want to cry for this..
any more..
and felt my emotions as a murmuring river.
without taking care of the depth..
I float in an instant of blissful lucidity.
A huge bubble of warm air..
the last one..
suspending my heart afloating..
while the dress dances with the lotusses
and then.. I know..
I shall go…
Go to the eternal Life of Mother Earth..
A course of water..
the only place where Loves and Hates..
dissolve.. contain…feed…
upon God"

Rosa, of course this had to be one of yours! I immediately gravitated to it from the page. Another brilliant piece of work…..... and the first I’ve seen with a slight Mona Lisa smile on Opelia’s face.

  • RosaCobos

RosaCobos in reply to davehiskey’s comment, 4 months ago

Yes… the inspiration was the famous picture of Mallais… but it has puzzled me what you have told me…. “shouts out louder”.... It would be nice for me if you would tell me a little more about it… And if not… does not matter.. thanks a lot this is the important.

    Hi Rosa
I am totally impressed by these beautiful words and the artwork, I was so moved. This is very impressionistic, and totally stunning! You are VERY talented! Thanks for creating such a beautiful work of art and for sharing it.

  • RosaCobos

RosaCobos in reply to Sarah Pett-Noble’s comment, 3 months ago

Thanks a lot Sarah. It make sme happy if someone pays attention to the words. I first create the image. Then I “stand” before it… in silence letting words appear.. but I guess these were bursting out while the process was on. This image gave me a lot of work.. many things to solve out…I count with my only photos to compose it.. is how I want it to be. And then… was…is shared thanl you it has been a pleasure sharing it with you.

This is so perfectly lovely. Very thought provoking image. Definately a reflection of “stillness speaks”

  • RosaCobos

RosaCobos in reply to Beth Lambert’s comment, 3 months ago

Thanks a lot Beth…. Here stillness is talking of pain… of sumission… of death.. but I know that is just a word… for her.. this blissful moment is full of self-understanding and light… so she is expressing it.

  • katarina

    katarina, 2 months ago

I can’t believe it. You have made one of the images I have been longing to make, to create photographically with double exposure the mythical, dreamlike quality the painting possesses, and you have done it tastefully and beautifully. I guess I’ll have to try with another image that inspires me! As everyone else has already said – well done…

  • katarina

    katarina, 2 months ago

Oh, and your written words to this image – very evocative – they create aurally what your image achieved visually.

  • RosaCobos

RosaCobos in reply to katarina’s comment, 2 months ago

This is a little much more than double exposure… at last it seems like a puzzle. I had such a good time doing it…my heart quivering in dismay if things were not going as I expected…. but in general it was not very hard… A miracle! And as fot the words… you can´t imagine how happy your appreciation makes me….I have been posting my works for two years and always have considered that they were much more than “images” por “photos”... and as I considered other´s works as well… my poems, writtings are a substantial part of them… like the skin is in myself…Thank you so much.

  • RosaCobos

RosaCobos in reply to Lyra’s comment, 2 months ago

Thanks a lot Lyra….may be she does not smile in the theatre play… but I guess… that as she finally finds her place in the water of the emotions… and sbmitt to them gladly… she has good reasons for this little moment of sel-knowledge and bliss…. and literally.. she “sees”....her fate and enters into inmmortality.
