He was there…. so far from home….with two companions, living on coins and smiles…and smiling at us…. And I felt attracted by them for with their old instruments… I could hear this song…that I knew since many years ago.
Sweet Home Alabama

Feeding the soul..
with smiles half concealed.
Feeding the air…
with rhymes that may heal.
Feeding the sunset…
with the warmth of your limbs.
Leaning on spaces…
streching to mean,
the sustaining walls of freedom…
down there on the pavement..
your world… feeds my regrets..

Feeding the pigeons …
with the crumbs of your sandwich…
my mouth still hungry
for the remains of the banquet…
that free souls, feasted in youth…
when the streets spoke as I walked,
and trembled within my ears…
when the sounds seemed to appear,
coming from the inside of my own.

Feeding the widsom of time…
stopped where I whished it to climb…
up to the mountain of clouds…
where all thoughts go..
to launch and get lost.
Feeding the womb of your guitar…
patient mistress of the deeds in your heart.

And the arms… the veins… and the skin…
sweelling from embrace and strain.
For I know… you sing for my coins…
but you sing for yourself..
as always you did..
while…
you travel along..
giving the places no name…
no matter who smiles to you…
who gives you the bread.

Clap and clap…
shoes wasted on the land.
Clap and clap the hands…
not made for a walk,
but caresses and playing.
And I gave away… any intimacy…
portraited you face…
and passed along..
and so you faded…
from my sight,
but not from my soul.
Bon Vogaye….
for me… and you… and for all.

when a man has music, what can you steal from him? nothing,! but, do! join in his pleasure, by stopping by a minute and hearing his laments, and joys, in tune and line ,sung, a penny or too, would not hurt! ,too!
