She has been near since the beguining…. of my journey here, but besides of faithful, she is lively, passionate, artistic and a great woman.

This is the extreme paradox,
of the shadowed soul.
Unmoving..
Deformed..
Unfeatured….
Incubating the old..
personality’s egg.
An “incubus” of the isolation.
A silence kept roaring.
Prisoner of frozen emotions.
Fettered by strange and new desires.
But Light has been forced..
behind the vacuum.
Without exploding.
A darting halo of conscience.
A shadow…bigger than cathedral walls.
Reaching the high window of an old name.
Attracting the moths, heavy as dreams.
Rejecting the tears…drops of lead
dense… as…
melted…pains.

    Very moving and powerful indeed, your words cast such incredible visual images for me that I didn’t look at the main image at first, I mean a darting halo of conscience or a silence kept roaring and many other descriptive phrases that emit such power, just a question, do you write the poem first or do you have the image first or both simultaneous. anyway just great Rosa.

    Hi Larry….many thanks..
    Bound to metaphors…they build the world with insistency ofthe craftsman. In fact, I have learnt a new word about it. Wordscraft.Beauty isn’t it?
    I prepare my image first…and then, I load it…and stop and wait looking intently to it, I write in an intuitive way….words and images, coupled with cenestesic feelings….I really “sense” my words.The problem is the language. I mostly write the “poems” in English, and the … not here both in other sites, or for me in Spanish. But I love to do it in my mother tongue. I find something special soul in English writing. That ..I cannot explain. But it is as if my person is two conversing. Now… just for enhace my abilitites and really blending the two cultures..when I read in Spanish, I do direct translation, so I have realized that I could have been an excellent interpreter. Not my aim….I enjoyeach new word, and each new spontaneous facility that come out of my mind and being without knowing why…but I guess that when you love something this…takes its own path of creativity. It makes me be amazed all the time. Glad you asked…I tell about it because it puzzles me so quite often, too.

    PS.. CAN I JUST TELL YOU.. I have seen what you wrote on my work with the mists.. and you floored me with this.. I would like to use in the pairing of the two.. and let me tell you true.. you are a deep sister in my heart.. you constantly blow me away and up to the skies with your profound feeling heart and soul… you have said it true.. we have been together on this journey for a while with each others essence.. how lovely you are as inspired guest in my house of expansion.. I feel like we ride the clouds.. the mists are our apron ..as we delve into the meat and potatoes of existence.. Love you so dang Much!! Thank you Rosa!

    You may be right…. the shadow is a real shadow of my youngest son….in that time….working hard to overcome a soul’s blow.
