She sleeps..
attached to her suitcase..
full of hopes and votes…
"If I were to be reborn…
I swear that….
I´d….
Do not know."
Broken heart..
her body takes the shape..
of a moulding love…
"So… what strange window…
It seems the light comes from behind..
Does not touch me..
My skin…unwarmed
And inside..
slumbering, but alive,
a rythm.. a pulse.. a wave..
burns.. so far as I can hear it..
and outside..
an icy coloured bird..
calls my soul up..
but I..
cannot….
get awake."
"Be Here and…Now"
So.. the Spirit guides…
Murmuring waters…
"Behind…a mist..
ahead…. a torrent..
and here.. a fall…
i feel afraid…"
Maiden….
shaped body..
as a melting heart.
In slumber…
she waits.

Glad I read your writing; now I see the bird as a savior trying to pull the woman out of her suffering; especially since the bird is lit, and appears to be shining light on the woman’s rear. It is also as though their are some invisible strings tied to the wings in attempt to bring the woman up.

Querida Rosa….
Beso

Thank you Miron… i love her..and love the poem. They come.. and stay and amaze me sometimes. i feel detached from them…. for they come through inspiration… not from my own will.

Oh….. Mui… I had not thought about the invisible strings.. and the idea is so lovely. you see… the pictures grow in other´s souls… in a new way.
I am happy that you read the poem… yes.. it describes the situation…but any other can give me new narrations for this girl… I will be happy to hear it. May be we could create a group in which one could give each other new stories for the pictures.. or the work… it would be nice. But you know this is of course no competitive at all.. mainly for increasing our bonds and creativity.Think of it..Thanks a lot Mui.
Have a hug.

I agree. I often get good descriptions from commenters for my work and I’d think “Wow it would be so great if that person and I worked together creating images with stories behind them”. But of course the writers who comment are also artists themselves, hence my help wouldn’t be needed. I loved the comment you left for my “Parallel Moments in Permanence” I had never thought about the colors of the sun and the colors of the moon. I agree such comments do increase our bonds and creativity.

Rendición
Desesperanza

Oh… it would not be meant as a help… just as a way of understanding how the other person can be “affected” by the presence of the image you have shown. And the same with works of art. When I comment i do no mean to help artists though I can do it if they feel like that. I feel spontaneous about it….and in communication… but they can do the same thing with mine… when they do it.. I feel more complete…. thought I have written my own… it is a new world.. a nwe feeling… it does not longer “me”.. or “mine”... but a sort of “ours”.
Thanks Mui… I am going to re.view your “Parallel Moments of Permanence…”

Fantastic work and I love your pairing of image with your eloquent poetry. Sally Omar has paired her poetry with some of my photographs and it is always delightful to the marriage of two beautiful works in the expressive arts. Magnifico!!
RosaCobos in reply to Julie Marks’s comment, 6 months ago
Thank you Julie… for many things.
Firstly for giving you meaning to what you say…
Secondly for making the “effort” to share with generosity…
Thirdly….. for your using the Spanish… just a word but with lot of love and intention.
I love this picture… It is a montage… but what´s not?... Nothing stands as it is really.. our out personality… our behaviour… our face… our oufit and outlook is a montage too…. intelligent but ann outfit… and the most we can do with it is not know it… and enjoy the manifold representation of our human souls..
Thanks a lot Julie.
