Driftwood
This shot was taken in East London in the Eastern Cape on a recent trip I took down there. We had to brave an early morning and the rain.

Wonderful sky, sea and horizon where they meet and certainly the driftwood is a focal point. Not too sure about the amount of sandy foreground ? Will be interested in what others think.

I have no problem with the sand. It leads your eye. Nice work !

Very nice Rory. What us photographers have to brave to get a good shot.
Being as the photo is in portrait style the sand is ok. Only way (I think) , would have been to shoot landscape style.

Hey there guys,
Thanks so much to all of you for your visit and comments. Amazing what we need to do to get a shot like this. I tried the shot in Landscape orientation, but it didn’t have quite the feel that I wanted, but I will look at what I have done and post one up for comparison.
Blessings to you all,
Regards,
Rory
