If you have editing software, you can soften the background, or you could try cropping closer to the butterfly.

Thank. I thought about changing the background, and even the color of the flower. Figured I’d use my patience and reshoot it when I get the chance since I am not happy with it.

Beautiful…The eastern swallowtail is not as colorful as the western.

Ron, I want to apologize for saying that this swallowtail is not as colorful as ours are here in the west. Not thinking that neather is ours. The real colors are on the underside of the wings. So I was rude. I’m very sorry! I write before I think sometimes.
