a skyline view of Neveh Tzedek, the first ever neighborhood of Tel Aviv, overlooking the old city of jaffa, and the fantastic Mediterranean sea. Spring time is in the air and the city is so colorful.
The red roofs of the small houses are shinning in the daylight and the sea is so blue.
Jaffa, on top of the picture, is an historic city that has served as a port city for pilgrims heading to Jerusalem. The first citizens of Tel Aviv arrived by the sea and built their houses in this neighborhood, close to the shore line.
The city of Jaffa is rising up from the sea like a fortress on a hill, facing and making its mark against the waves of the Mediterranean sea.
The old port of Jaffa claims to be the oldest port in the world, mentioned several times in the bible and its history is spanning over 3000 years.
The port is still functional today as a small fishing port, and currently serves as a recreational zone featuring cool restaurants, cafes and art galleries.
