I am a witness…..

I was born in New York. I grew up in New York and I currently live in New York. Much of my inspiration comes from the soul, spirit and people of the City.

I have created art all of my life. I studied art as a child at the Museum of Modern Art School and later at the Art Students League of NY. Harold Feinstein was my first and most inspiring photography teacher. I also had the good fortune to study with Philippe Halsman and Lisette Model.

I began photographing with my father’s Brownie, and since then I’ve used a variety of cameras, lenses and formats as well as printing and darkroom techniques. For the past few years I have been experimenting with various digital cameras.

My work has been shown in museums and galleries and has been published in magazines in the United States, Canada and in Europe.

Signed, matted prints are available, please contact me at my e-mail address
