Beautiful… I love the colour of Rust and have painted it many times…I like the juxtaposition of the hard metal with the leaves…a great metaphor…
Ron Moss replied
Thanks very much Janis. yes the clours of rust and aging are so very special and the soft and hard of the leaves and metal spring seems to work. I did ponder posting it without the old frame but I liked the look of it.

Finding the organic essence of the iron.
What does it matter the shape?
Shape will change as time and elements act upon it.
As we as everything.
I love the delicacy of the leaves, and the way that the twisted iron rod is trying to mimmick this delicacy…on the whole is quite spiritual, poetic and profoundly elegant.
