My mind drifts into thoughts of society, a place it or my body for that matter don’t belong. So I bring it back to the present, to the sea. The roar of the engine and the rock and roll on the radio are distracting but they can be ignored, so I do.
All I hear now is the ocean and the wind. I can feel the cool salt spray on my face, the waves rock my bones and the sea, I feel her in my soul. The salt is in my blood, the water in my heart. The ocean is more than a bringer of bliss, she is the bringer of life. She feeds me, cloths me, she keeps me.
