Thanks so much, Karen. Glad you like it. I don’t have a DSLR. I have a Sony DSC-H50… it’s a hybrid. A P&S with a lot of manual option. I love it, but look forward to one day getting a DSLR and a nice macro lens.

Thank you for letting me know as thinking of getting a camera for garec my 15year old when we are out walking, i have let her have a go with my DSLR and she loves it, LOl

yes… this Sony is a nice alternative at a decent price. i spent a long time with the guy at the camera shop and compared canon, nikon and this one. this had the truest color and great macro. (i took some flowers with me). i know when i get a DSLR i’ll get a canon, but for this stage… this one works. there are also lenses and filters available…
