Workshops!
Trying to get my head around workshops that I want to do. Looked at a great space today – a steiner building in Ballymoney linked to the Duffcarrig Camphill Community. Circular space looking out onto a field big window, great light. Magic!
So now I have two maybe three locations to work from; Holos Holistic Centre in Gorey, Clonevin School House in Ballygarrett and the Rose White building in Ballymoney.
So I’m starting my workshops again offering creative workshops where I mix relaxation techniques with encouraging people to get creative. I show up with a load of art materials get people to centre themselves and relax deeply. Then I offer participants art materials in an open process based framework and facilitate the groups exploration of self expression.
The end result is experiential – what participants create is not as important as the fact they created it. These creative coaching workshops have their basis in art and positive personal development I am clear with people this is not art therapy. But it has a positive effect on the person as they relax, become centred and reconnect with themselves.
Date to be organise – venues to confirm – flyers to be made and communicate. I have 3 people interested in doing ‘Moving Forward’.
Time to go feed the kids, clean the kitchen and prepare for the weekend.
