inland series, 2009.
The leaves are from an unsual Lilac that I bought in memory of my maternal Grandmother who died this summer. The felt hat that the leaves are photographed in was a gift from her several years ago in very particular circumstances.
The light in the image is the natural low light that prevails in the South East of Ireland in October and spills our kitchen with glorious colour.
This image is a dialogue to work made 10 years ago, more following.
