Swans Legacy Series
Swans feather.
On one of our trips down to the beach just before the small canal bridge the was evidence of a fox murder. Feathers strewn everywhere. A swans wing left almost intact. I almost did n’t pick up the feathers it felt as if I should n’t. But they were so beautiful and I could not help but think how often does something beautiful come out of something awful…
This ties into some thinking I have been doing recently on whether I am always trying to pretty things up make them not seem so harsh – is that where my art comes from?
