The Harpies

The dream of lost love either real or imagined torn by the human emotions of pride and jealousy but to name just a few.

The Harpies belongs to the following groups:

***♂♥♥QUORN♥♥♀, All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical and WMG

In that moment I awoke but where had I been
Asleep for sure but in lands unseen

Yet her hand had held mine as we stood on deck
Band’ed Pirates all about us not yet to ‘wreck

As we floated through the sky on they came
Fierce Eyed and furious, Jealousy & Affront

Wicked, were the tears the sails they made
Pirates disembowelled the rest flaid’

Falling they were snatched and made in two
And that, my dear is when I lost you

Here I lie ruin-eyed awake, drenched in sweat
“Alurum, Alack” I cry, “Beware The Harpies Croon!”,

The loss of your Love was both real & a dream
Yet in this moment that is now; simply obscene.
