The Farr Home by Terence Russell

This home was built around the time of the Civil War in the 1860. It has a basement, which is a rarity for homes in this part of the US. Rock structures of this type were generally used as fortifications against Comache attacks. Situated in Somervell County’s Heritage Park, standing at its original position. (I suppose it would have hard to move a stone structure and especially one that had a basement.) Glen Rose, Texas USA

Canon EOS Rebel T1i
Tamron 18-270mm lens

Handheld, single RAW processed in Photomatix Pro 3.2

Son of an avid reader of paperbacks and a manager of a photofinishing plant in Abilene, Texas.
