Old trestle on the railroad track alongside Hwy 81 in Hill County just north of Itasca, Texas. I passed by this trestle several times on various days telling myself I should photograph it. That day finally came. Trudging through high vegetation and along the tracks across the trestle, fearing about a train coming by more than tripping and falling into the creek below, I took it from several directions, but my favorite is this view.

This is really a great capture, is it still used?? Rail on right looks shiny so looks like it is in use.
We had seen a train crossing it about a half hour earlier! Thanks, Ciana!

Beautiful work Terence!
Well done to stop and take a photography. But be careful with coming trains.
Thank you, Uwe. I don’t make it a habit to stand in the middle of the railroad tracks. I outgrew that as a child, when we actually had a part of the railroad line cut through our field! ;)
