Just as we drew close to Twin Falls, Idaho, I passed this lifeless house with naught but a single blowing curtain in an upper window. The scene beckoned me to stop and photograph the utter forlornness visible to every passerby, but I only spied it in passing. I drove a mile further, but the vision continued to nag me, so I u-turned to make an attempt to capture the feeling of abandonment so evident in the view. A few of the passing cars slowed as they passed, curious about why I was photographing this dilapidated house. I am hopeful I was successful.
