Gorgeous simplicity, Terrence! Just browsed your gallery…superb!

  • Terence Russell replied

Thank you, Pat! I had sat at this point all night trying to capture the perfect lighting for this scene. I just had to run out just as the sun was rising to give it one more try. The sky was not quite as magnificent as I had hoped during sunrise, but the scene was, never the less, beautiful.

beautiful reflection love the muted colour of this one:o))

  • Terence Russell replied

Thank you, linsads! I took this one just as the sun rose in hopes of catching a glorious sunrise. Didn’t happen … but that didn’t dampen the loveliness of the scene. The water was the stillest I seen on any of the lakes I visited in Glacier National Park … and I was actively looking for still water reflections.

Thank you, Rose. This is another photo that I originally contemplated putting in the trash bin. I was and am extremely glad that I took another look.

Absolutely serene. You have captued serenity! How beautiful and quiet this is! Cheers, Rhino

  • Terence Russell replied

As I sat in this location the previous night, a “Dennis the Menace” wannabe continually threw rocks into the water right in front of where I was set up. I arose very, very early so as to get a shot of this scene over still water.

How perfect! I could gaze at this for hours! Marita!

  • Terence Russell replied 20 days ago

I did! Not at the time I took this one, but the night before I was sitting there looking at this scene for several hours, trying to get the right light … and then, went out early the next morning and viola!
