Slowly and Softly

Slowly and softly, almost floating
she passed by my eyes
and it was that first mere glimpse of her
that set the tempo of my heart
into a dance, a rhythm that quickened
from that very first glance.

All else faded but the glow of her smile
subtle and genuine, warm not loud.
The shine of her moist lips lights the way,
as she glides through with a motion
that sweeps, without resistance my
attention she keeps.

There is a scent of freshness left
on the air as she passes through it,
lingering, filling the empty spaces
of my senses when I breathe it in.
Like sweet things, spinning delightful
excitements so gently it brings.

I caught the sparkles ray of her eye
in mine when she met my gaze.
A small wink brought a tilt of her head
with her deep blue eyes still holding me.
Passion on trial, as they sang bringing
her eyes more to smile.

I drank from the sight of her beauty
tasting a flawless form. Longing to touch
I reached and was met with a yes.
With eight clouds below I stood, so tender
was the linger, until that is, I noticed the
diamond on her finger.

    Wow beautiful and brilliant ending!!!
This happens and it is like a breath held for a pregnant moment
and then you let the breath out slowly as you move away
and life goes on as slowly it fades
like the expelled air of the breath
Oh so momentous Roger Thank you xox
