Two eyes have I to drink upon her beauty
each time she walks by and gives to me that
special smile turning up the corners of her mouth
that invites me into the wonder of her being

Two ears have I to hear her gentle call
whispering softly to me sweet verses chanting
to my heart words of love which leaves an echo
lingering as a hush woos me to hold my breath

Two hands have I to softly caress her cheek
as she tilts her head slightly into my fingers
while eyes close slowly to savor the touch
causing lips to part letting escape a sigh

Two arms have I to hold her close to me
her head nestled to my chest in secure comfort
as breathing matched to hearts beating as one
embracing till both succumb to peaceful sleep

Two legs have I to stand for her strong and
walk with her in dreams at sunset where
she rests in my lap as I kiss about her neck
playfully leaving suggestions in her ear

One mind have I to think of her endlessly
as I write my love songs overwhelmed by the
thought that she has given to me her love
purely and unconditionally forever and a day

One heart have I gladly given as her dwelling
place storing there her treasures to be kept safely
tucked away as I cherish each one as a priceless
jewel knowing no other will live there but her

One dream have I painted in bright colored hues
that express my deepest desire that one day I will
find her so my now empty life will be complete and
all that I long to give in love will be by her cared for
