Artist's Description

As the title states, this is the Natural History Museum of the Smithsonian Institute located in Whashington D.C. It is one of nineteen museums operated by the Institute, the largest museum network in the world. This particular museum is the home of many displays and examples of life, both plant and animal. It also contains a treasure trove of gems and minerals, one of which is the Hope Diamond, the largest diamond in the world. All the Smithsonian Museums are quite incredible. One could spend days visiting them and still not see all the wonders they contain.
