Bee At The Heart Of The Matter by

The bumble bee is becoming a rare
thing to see these days. I’m not sure
why but… it’s a shame none the less.

Just a guy who loves to write; poetry, lyrics, short stories and random thoughts… it is my passion. Photography is my second passion as I love to capture the world around me… to make time stop and to savor a subject forever.

    hi rog…
i think often of why the bees are leaving, and what i believe that the vibrational sounds they hear are becoming too strong and loud for them..cell towers and so many things that buzz louder than they do… ..love to watch bees and nothing better than good honey..and i hold in my thoughts that we are not chasing away one of our greatest resources….
i love the gentleness of this shot my friend…beautiful…..
    hugs and love….terri

  • Whatever the reason is, it’s not a good thing. Bees are so important to the eco-system… for so many reasons! And yes… honey… yummy!!!! – and good for you the body… especially alergies… and muffin recipes :)))))

    Awesome close up Roger. Congratulations,
    John.

  • Thanks John – the little guy paid no attention to me which allowed a pretty good close up.
