My buddy Quinn lived a long, happyand joyous life. He was truly a friend.I do and will forever miss him.
bird, friend, roger sampson, rogsamanimal
Just a guy who loves to write; poetry, lyrics, short stories and random thoughts… it is my passion. Photography is my second passion as I love to capture the world around me… to make time stop and to savor a subject forever.
Such a sweet tribute, wow 12 years is quite a long life for a parakeet… he must have been well cared for.
Yup, cared for and loved. Always kept his cage door open so he could fly around, usually landind on my head to say hello. Was a super friend. Thanks so much for looking and the nice thought.
Wow… am I impressed with the art you do. And as you, I’ve been writing since about ’68 as well… that is my true passion.

oh no, I m so sorry for your loss. I love birds. a beautiful image and tribute. with love and warm hugs, shar xoxoxo
Thanks so much Shar :) Amazing the bond that we develope with our pets… and they with us. You are always so nice with your comments… you are truly appreciated. Now to find the time to catch up with your work along with so many others. Oh the time thing!!!!
A budgie? We had one who talked so much he was really one of the family (also helped to eat our breakfast, and sat on our shoulders supervising any activity that happened in the kitchen.) I am sure Quinn is sorely missed … hugs xxx
It is hard to lose pets. They become so much a part of our lives.
Sorry about Quinn. No doubt about it, he was a great friend and was loved well.
Very touching …You have a portofolio I like a lot
And thank you for all these beautiful things you say!I played the piano for 10 years and I stopped by the lack of space (I can’t have a piano in my present apartment!)
Thanks for viewing… and the nice comment. When the music is in you, it will never leave (a fact)!!Maybe, just maybe you could get an electronic keyboardthat you can use headphones with that wouldn’t take upa lot of room. Then you could play… and smile from within…and enjoy that something special that nothing elsecould give.Just maybe… :)
