spirits do glide
at times to touch
meeting
sometimes to linger

perhaps a dance
exchanging songs
playing
locking each finger

thoughts in tales
given and felt
weaving
spinning in the flight

catch the mood
reflect the hue
swaying
adding to the light

spirits do glide
in minds and hearts
searching
for things past and new

inhale the glow
of feelings felt
feeding
the goodness in you

A blending of parts of some of my images that I put together and had fun with in Photoshop. The writing, in a strange way, inspired it all.

Just a guy who loves to write; poetry, lyrics, short stories and random thoughts… it is my passion. Photography is my second passion as I love to capture the world around me… to make time stop and to savor a subject forever.

How enchanting! Love the way the colors of the spirits blend into each other as the light up the life of Gaia.

  • Thanks Mui-Ling. To let you know, the “spirits” is actually a pic of a fire i took one night as I had a good blaze going in my fire pit in my backyard. I played with the colors in Photoshop and that is how it turned out. I really had fun making it.

The poem and the image are very ethereal. Beautifully done. Right down to the single rose and the rosie moon. :o)

  • Hi Bunny – As I was making the image I knew exactly the writing I wanted to put with it, … so I did :) Now I’ll tell ya a secret… check here and then check here also and you will find the two things you mentioned. It was a lot of fun making this image and I thank you for the great comment :)

    GORGEOUS!

Beautiful visual display as well Rog. You were obviously feeling impish and free. Love it. :)

  • That I was Maree. As I told others, this was just fun to do. The writing I did some time ago but when the image was coming together, (in its own strange way), I knew I had to put that writing to it. Thank you greatly for the comment Maree.

Gorgeous work, Roger. Love the plant life on the bottom, and the single rose is perfect.
The colors are stunning in this beautiful piece,

Love that the words inspired the image. Just a beautiful blending of creative strikes that formed to create an interesting and lovely work my friend. Your method one in which I can appreciate. Really crazy about the mermaid and the man bowing before her.with the bird watching over the scene, how moving it is to me.
