Lessons of Pooh Corner

Lessons of Pooh Corner

When strife and stress seem to capture our lives,
and worries rob our calmness; retreat back to the
days where dreams and complexities were simpler
and problems were trivial. They still are in relative
terms as we remember bears and owls,
magic wands and rabbits.

The third verse to Kenny Loggins’ song is as follows;

“It’s hard to explain how a few precious things
Seem to follow throughout all our lives.
After all’s said and done I was watching my son
Sleeping there with my bear by his side.
So I tucked him in, I kissed him and as I was going,
I swear that the old bear whispered… boy welcome home.”

Wonderful little places are gifts.

    Oh, found some words: in childhood, most often we are free, embodied, knowing … joyous, curious. When I connect within myself with the wisdom of a small child, I can only truly be.

  • Roger Sampson replied

    The faith of a child my friend… all becomes simple… and possible :))) See you there :)
