Night Rainbow by Roger Barnes

A slightly less cliched view of Sydney city across the harbour as seen from a newly restored piece of land on Waverton Peninsula. The land, once home to a BP oil refinery, built in 1923, was handed over to the local council in 2003 and despite hopes to have the park finished by the end of that year, it was finally opened to the public around March 2005.

I’m Roger Barnes, a creative photographer from Sydney, Australia.

Here you’ll find an assortment of my best landscape and creative photographic work, from the serene to the whimsical, light to grungy and other things in between. My travels take me all over the world, and this is reflected in the portfolio. In particular you’ll find images from around Australia.

Amazing how far across the water the colour reflections go. Makes it different from your standard cityscape. Great find.
