Hello Peter, many thanks my friend, I had been taking a few photos of the lighthouse at Pendeen and had taken a few looking in this direction before but decided to walk down the coastal path and was delighted to see this scene, even an OZ style beach to ourselves.
It was a most enjoyable holiday and I’m awaiting my new PC before I get all the photos on and start preparing them for posting,

Many thanks Richard, I always use a CP filter when it’s sunny, it not only takes away reflected glare but saturates the colours better without help from photoshop, my photoshop work normally amounts to a few level adjustments and a bit of sharpening.
It probably goes back to my use of film, before digital photography and post processing on a computer when you had to get it right on camera,

I’ll try and edit one or two from there for posting soon, they were rebuilding the slipway for the lifeboat and two big diggers on the beach kind of changed the mood of the place.

They will be gone for sure, they were digging foundations for the concrete slipway supports.
