A Bad Hair Day
The last time I had a holiday in my native Scotland, in an adjoining field to our accommodation, were a herd of Scottish Highland cattle.
The bull was called Hamish and with his wilder than normal hairdo became a regular photo subject for me during my holiday. The breed are well known for their long hair but this one seemed to be having a particularly bad hair day when I took this shot.

Great shot Rod. A little too up close and personal for me. This is quite the doo on this dude! This bull’s hair reminds me (not only of my messy mane fresh from a shower), but of those odd dogs called Pooleys. And hey..this big guy doesn’t need to see what’s coming because with those horns, who’s gonna argue with him anyway???? Cheers, S.
rodsfotos replied
I’m sure your hair never looks like that Sandra, even straight from the shower.
They are so docile, you could walk right up to one and stroke them and they wouldn’t bat an eyelid, even if they did you couldn’t see the eye anyway, LOL.,many thanks my friend,

Wonderful close up Rod and I know that they are far more docile than they look! I still can’t fathom why I miss seeing so many of your photos – I have checked right back and this one never showed. It doesn’t just happen with you, either. a problem that will get resolved sooner rather than later. Best wishes, Peter
rodsfotos replied
Thank-you very much Peter, they are indeed very docile and like so many Scottish natives, can now be seen in all corners of the world.
I can’t say why some of the images are not showing, I tend to not rely on that function anyway, normally click on the users home page to see new work, if I happen to be online when a friend uploads new work and it shows in My Bubble I will have a look from that point,
Regards, Rod.
