Do Gulls Enjoy Sunsets?

Every time I see a sunset on this river the gulls seem to land when the sunset is at it’s most colourful and all seems to go silent for a while so it really made me wonder,RE: the title, many thanks Evita,

Thanks very much Peter, it was with the old D100, I posted similar ones on WS but not this actual one.
The filter loses about a stop of light which isn’t a problem tripod mounted providing that gull stayed still all the time,
