Reflections of the Past

Reflections of the Past

Most of the former industrial warehouses bordering the River Dart at Totnes have now been remodelled as luxury riverside apartments, good to see them have a new lease of life and I believe it keeps much of the character of the old town.

An early morning image of some of them reflecting on the still water of the river at high tide.

A wonderful photo Rod with reflections to die for. I can still remember those places when they were rather unsightly warehouses – they certainly look much better now. I used to love doing that cruise up from Dartmouth – it used to be one of the highlights of our early holidays before we moved down there. All the best, Peter

  • rodsfotos replied

Thanks so much Peter, it’s quite a few years since I last made that river trip from Dartmouth to Totnes but it is certainly a great way to see the area with quire a few photo oportunities en-route,
    Regards, Rod.

I agree Rod, just love the craftsmenship in these old building. Must be alot of maintenance though.

Worth every penny I’d say, I remember when some were used as stores for a building materials supplier and they looked so shabby in those days.
