The Power of the Sea

I took this image just before sunset at Lands End in Cornwall, the Atlantic waves were crashing on the cliffs far below and I was fortunate to get the seagull just entering the frame.

Would love to see some of your Scottish images if you have some here or are planning uploading some,

Grant me the liberty of cranking it up again Rod, ‘cause it’s just so jolly good!
Seldom do images speak the way yours continually do my friend. This is so darned atmospheric, that I can taste the salt air, and having Johathan in frame, is utterly perfect! Love the little coastal blooms too, adding yet more colour to an already plush green cliff-face! It’s a wonderful capture my friend, and one to be extremely proud of.

  • rodsfotos replied

Thank-you very much for the wonderful comment Robyn, it’s a pity they stopped the function for posting the larger view as a comment and now it comes out smaller than the original, I have an A4 print of this framed in my hallway at home and it looks so much better at that size,

Mahalo my sweet friend. I do love it.
It is a challenge to stay in touch with my closest friends as I am so busy with so many issues and projects here on Maui and with my husband. Sometimes it is overwhelming and I can easily become frustrated as time does not permit me to do everything I wish to do. I do try to stay in touch, however. If you don’t hear from me often, I hope you understand that I am probably simply off the grid.

I am also trying to find someone to help me with several of the groups I host, yet with the new group news and no more group bmails, the call I sent out for assistance has received no response as of yet.

And I wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you this morning. I wish you a wonderful day Rod.
