Thanks Alan- if you were closer I’d let you take it for a drive yourself- brilliant lens. I’m so glad you liked this sequence, and esp the last was my fave but I lacked confidence that it would be as strong a header as the one I went with.

would it fit on a Canon – probably need a different mount. I’ve just been doing some searching around, and a 70-200 “L” Canon zoom gives great results with the Canon 2x extender (for only $500) ..... which would obviously make it a 400 zoom, stopped down to f8.0 – I could live with that.
and, when it comes to art, I believe in just going with the flow … it’s always just an aesthetic and technical decision, and nothing more …. and the unusual and original always has to feature (I’ve just done a series on Dante – well, one to go – how obscure is that? :) but, your “header” image is very strong anyway!! you couldn’‘t lose either way :)
