Dreamscape 2 (I ran to the river...it was boiling)

This is an acrylic painting on canvas. It was created in response to a Nina Simone song, Sinner Man. In the song, a sinner man runs to the river but its boiling. He also runs to the rock, the Lord, and the sea but no one can hide or help him. So he finally runs to the Devil who is waiting for him.

I like your description of the work; as well as, the actual work itself. I tell you truly you have amazing talent and ability. I been looking through your gallery; and, although it’s just one page of works; all of these works seem to me to be absolutely astounding in their sheer brilliance; and, also, I admire your use of constantly changing styles; but, no matter what style you choose to work in; you always seem to be able to pull it off perfectly. ;-)
