My name is MOA
I made this image in response to my frustration with a system that encourages isolation of children with disabilities and with children and adolescents who are illiterate and there lack of desire or inability to move forward. \
Mixed media collage using various paper mediums. Painted work done on Canvas paper, background is torn recycled paper assembled with gel medium, drawn over with marker and painted with casein paint. Magazine pictures complete the collage.

Very touching. It exudes pathos. Please consider adding the paper details and submitting it again to Works on Paper.

Thanks Peter. It was difficult to make…because it did arouse such feelings of pity and sympathy…etc.
