resolution hangover

Oh no, not again,
belly in turmoil,
head in pain,
Have gone and done it,
just the same.
Fun to be had,
the demon voice,
whispered to me,
you know that you want to,
‘tis the remedy.
Cure all your woe,
sweet abandon,
feel no shame,
It’s not that you’re weak,
A tough day is to blame.
Yes quite right,
my folly declares.
I’ll go now,
head off down the stairs.
Now it’s the morning,
belly in turmoil,
head in pain,
I make a resolution,
Never again!

This is the last time
