Even though we’ve only had snow for a couple of weeks, I’m already looking forward to next Spring. There are some advantages to living where Winter gets so cold…no cockroaches or dog fleas, so I’m thankful for the cold weather, and even more thankful for the few months of warmth that we get here.
I took the original photo of a cherry tree last spring with a Kodak EasyShare Z712 IS camera. Editing was done in Photoshop CS with three layers of the cherry tree: I used the Flaming Pear Lacquer filter for the base layer and two different renders of Redfield Fractalius. I rendered one with white for the highlights and used the Hard Light blending mode, and one with black for the shadows, blending with the Multiply mode.
