I took the original photo that I used for this in a cute little garden, behind one of the churches in Shaun’s neighborhood in Kalispell, Montana (USA). I didn’t like the cluttered look of the photo but I loved the yellow flowers and wine colored brushy blooms. I used several layers in Photoshop CS to make this image. I don’t remember the order of everything, but I used the Topaz Clean filter to simplify the image and the Redfield Fractalius filter to soften it. Redfield Plasteroid gave it some texture and Redfield Bas Relief gave it some definition. I also used the burn tool to paint around the edges of the yellow flowers. I’m entering this in the Flowers in Redfield Effect challenge in the Redfield Plugins group.
I’m not sure about the other flowers, but the yellow ones are Plains Coreopsis.
