Brian took this photo of the break between the two thunderstorms, just after the torrential rain and hail stopped. He originally ran outside to take pictures of the flooding in the street and the hail, from the safety of our carport. When he saw the sky, he gave up his cover and ran out into the street. By the time he took this photo, the street had already drained. Brian ended up with over 200 photos, many of them with a rainbow, which looked eerie against the dark thunderclouds.
The clouds on the right were the tail end of the storm that hit us. The clouds on the left dumped their load over Hungry Horse and Glacier Park.
