I found this beautiful wildflower in the field next to the railroad tracks in Columbia Falls, Montana (USA). I don’t know the name of it, but it’s common around here, growing wild in the valley and in the mountains. It has even encrouched on a few gardens, which would probably classify it as a weed. The Rocky Mountains are in the background.

I’m uploading this for the Flowers with a View challenge in the All American Seasons group.

The colors you’ve captured together here are marvelous! Love it!

  • Thank you very much, Pat! These flowers are so tiny, I had to lie down on the ground to get the background in.

Lovely capture .. beautiful flowers and dof ~ I’d be happy to have them in my garden :)

  • Thank you, Susie! I’d love to have a garden to have these in. Our garden is about 2 feet by 2 feet and filled with succulents, that were here when we moved in. We’re fortunate to have a lot of land with wildflowers around our home.

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes it is the quiet voice at the day, saying, “I will try again tomorrow”.
