God Shed His Grace

Artist's Description

This old tree sits by the Flathead River. The sun’s last rays struck the top branches while the rest of the tree was shadowed. It reminded me of the song, “America”, which should have been our national anthem.

The words, God shed His grace on thee, and crown thy good with brotherhood, from sea to shining sea, are something this country needs right now.

Photo taken in May, 2011 in Columbia Falls, Montana (USA), with a Kodak EasyShare Z712 IS camera.
