Made in UltraFractal 5 from a standard Julia and enhanced in Photoshop CS. Texturing was done with a Tessalated fractal and I layered this in Photoshop to give it a 3D, Escheresque perspective look. This design works as an optical illusion, with the two spirals taking turns being in the foreground.

This is dedicated to a time when people were colorful and ornate, when women carried parasols to protect them from the sun and men used walkingsticks. Both accessories were more for decoration than purpose but they had style. I’m at the age where comfort means more to me than appearance and I am thankful for the invention of wash-and-wear, but I love to watch movies about periods where men and women dressed up for every occasion.

This is inspired by the song, “Camptown Races”.

I love colourful and ornate too, and enjoy viewing and reading about older times. This is a gorgeous design, and I love the bottom part. :)
