Friday night is everybody’s favorite time as it represents the beginning of our two and a half days of our real lives. The weekdays belong to our employers or schools, but the rest is all ours.
One of the things I miss about living in Hollywood was being able to go out to a fine restaurant and then the theater. The city of Los Angeles is transformed at night into a wonderland of lights and activity. Another plus is that you can’t see the smog.
This started out as a photograph that I took in Kalispell, Montana. I combined it with an abstract that I had made. Several layers were used to transform it, including the use of the Redfield Lattice and UMatrix filters. Photoediting was done in Photoshop CS.
