Jimmy took this photo, early in the morning, in the beginning of March, traveling east on Highway 2, on his way to North Dakota. It’s somewhere on the East Side of the Rocky Mountains in Montana (USA). Jimmy says he was past Havre when he took this. It’s obviously farm country.

I think these are the Little Rockies, but I’m not sure. These mountains are part of the Helena Volcanics, a series of hot spots that stretch through central Montana, from Yellowstone Park north, halfway to the Canadian border.
