Made in UltraFractal 5 from a standard Julia. The hearts were added in Photoshop CS, using the Redfield Lattice XP filter. The fractal design was used as a background and then was overlaid on the hearts. I then overlaid a layer of white over the background and reduced the opacity to 30 percent to give it a softer look. I have been having fun playing with tessalations lately.

Ooohh, this is delightful! I love the colours and special gnarlies.
Thanks, Josette! These colors cheer me up after months of a dreary winter. That must be why the colors of Christmas, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter are so beautiful. Halloween and Thanksgiving colors are drab, but we haven’t suffered the cold that much by then.
