People often ask us how we can stand living in a place where the Winter temperatures get down to 20 below zero F. or colder. The beautiful mountains of Montana keep us here. We’ve moved away a few times over the years and always end up coming back again. It’s a lot easier to turn the heat up than it is to create a view like this.
Jimmy took this photo in March of 2010 on the “East Side” of Montana (USA), a term we use for anything east of the Rocky Mountains. These are the Bridger Mountains, which are located near Bozeman. He was driving back from his trip to Tennessee and took several pictures out of the car window as he was driving.
Photo taken with a Kodak EasyShare Z712 IS camera. To deal with the motion blur I sharpened it in Photoshop CS, using the Topaz Sharpening filter, which allowed me to give detail to the larger parts of the photo without sharpening the finer details.
